Kevin Woodford

Having trained in some of the World's finest restaurants Kevin was appointed as a Lecturer in Professional cookery at a college in the UK.

Promotion via various colleges around the country led him to becoming the youngest Head of a College of Higher Education in Sheffield.
He was a Senior Examiner for City & Guilds Advanced Courses, a judge at several International Culinary Competitions, the only Chef in Europe to have a set of postage stamps commissioned to celebrate his work (approved by the Queen!) and training consultant to several major International Hotels.

A career in the media followed after he was 'discovered­' by a BBC producer whilst chatting on BBC Radio Sheffied. His personality, relaxed style, coupled with excellent communication skills led to him becoming a presenter for a wide and varied range of shows.

Kevin was awarded Presenter of Best Daytime Show at The National Television Awards and was the subject of 'This is Your Life' by the BBC.
His live presentation of the award winning TV show 'Can't Cook, Won't Cook' is in great demand and he is a regular entertainer onboard P&O Cruises, Saga Cruises as well as being an accomplished after dinner speaker.
Kevin had the pleasure of playing Baron Hardup alongside the legend Danny La Rue in Pantomime!


His production company, Kawblimey Productions along with Platinum Films was responsible for securing a commission with the BBC and ABC Australia and co/producing 'Planet Cook' at Pinewood Film Studios.

This ground breaking,fully scripted, 104 x 26 mins, children's adventure series based around healthy food has since been acquired in India, Germany and other parts of the world.
