In April 2019 Craig took up position as Head Chef of Private Dining at the prestigious, world renowned, 5 red star Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Resort in Perthshire, Scotland. Catering for parties from an intimate private dining experience for two in the exclusive wine cellars, to luxury banqueting for over 500 guests in the resorts Country Club.
Craig was then head hunted to join senior AA inspector Gordon Cartwright in putting 13th century Lumley Castle, County Durham, firmly on the culinary map.
Introducing his exciting culinary style to the quirky luxury of a stay in an historic castle, Craigs creations have been well received by regular foodies from County Durham and further afield too......there's lots more to come at this impressive hotel which has been recognised as championing quality local produce. From elegant fine dining, intimate celebration dinners in the castles vaults, exclusive fairytale weddings and majestic medieval banquets, all led by executive head chef Craig Sherrington and his loyal brigade of talented chefs!
